The Mission Adopt-A-Block Society is a non-profit organization that administers an anti-litter
program in the community of Mission in beautiful British Columbia.

We have been a part of the community since 1995. First formed under the Mission Environmental
Society, we branched off in 1998 to form what is known as The Mission Adopt-A-Block Society!

Under the direction of a dedicated board of directors, we have grown into a multi-faceted program
that encourages citizens of Mission to participate in a pro-active approach to keeping Mission clean
and a healthier place to live.

Currently over 160 family households and over 20 community groups have committed to regular
clean-ups of their neighborhood and other selected areas. They are not only participating in a very
worthwhile cause, but they are setting a great example of civic pride for others to aspire to!
